Fantastic Four First Steps Review: Marvel Studios was afraid to make Fantastic Four a risky and eventful film.

Finally, the first Fantastic Four movie, I will say, is a good movie but still not the best Fantastic Four we had. Fantastic Four The first steps take place in an unknown period inspired by 1960s architecture and fashion style, and the movie takes place after four years. Also, the comic book, their first issue by Stan Lee, was in 1961. Also the four years are very catchy and also remind me of Superman's sarcastic beginning with three decades, three weeks, and three minutes. It's something sarcastic and funny, but the Fantastic Four didn't take to that sarcastic way.The Fantastic Four are popular in their universe. Yes, the Fantastic Four, not in the MCU universe, are in 828-Earth. Also, they had a worldwide institution called FF. People love the team; they had merchants, and also the team appeared on TV. They are very popular.But suddenly Reed Richard and Sue Storm had a baby, a baby they didn't know would be natural or would be possessed by the parents. Suddenly an alien entity appeared in New York City to the strongest on earth, which are the F4 and the Silver Surfer, a servant of Galactus, who is eating planets to fill his hunger. Galactus is an entity before the universe itself, and the only way to prevent him from eating earth is to give him Franklin Richards, the son of Richard and Sue, because Franklin contains the cosmic power that Galactus has his eye on, but frankly, the F4 team refused, and the conflict has begun.The story of F4FS is really strong but at the same time is very naive, and one of the elements in the story that makes me angry is that Silver Surfer came to earth to announce that Galactus will eat the earth. It's really very stupid and makes Galactus very naive because he didn't follow this role: don't show the enemy your plan. And obviously, Mr. Gala is stupid. Matt Shakman is the director; he is the creator of the WandaVision series, the first streaming show after Endgame, and I don't feel that Shakman really imposed his vision on the series; it is still the Kevin Feige world.The cast is Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), Julia Garner (Silver Surfer), and Ralph Ineson (Galactus). I would say there wasn't any bad performance, and shockingly the lead of this film is not Reed Richard; it's Sue Storm, and that is why Pedro Pascal said two years—that Sue is the leader—and this became the truth. I found the team had harmony but was also filled with a number of cliches; the movie needed more improvement on the screenplay.The real problem with Fantastic Four is it didn't take any risk and also missed the point of contact with the MCU. Also, other movies in the MCU in the last 5 years lost any connection between each other.This made me ask what Doomsday and Secret Wars will be like, two movies missing in connection to other films.Fantastic Four: First Steps It's not an event in the MCU; it's not like Civil War, No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It itself contains a movie afraid of risks. But still, it's an enjoyable movie, not like Brave New World and Quantumania. It looks like the achievement for Marvel Studios is to make movies better than their worst movies, not movies that lead the revolution in cinema like the Infinity Saga.
